Glenabbey church - foundations


what's on	/ foundations:

This course provides a core theological underpinning for all involved in appointed positions of spiritual ministry in Glenabbey to enable us to live and serve together in step with the Gospel.

We are a 'gospel' community. Our desire is to live and to serve together in a manner worthy of the gospel.

This requires us to:

To have a thorough understanding of the Gospel and how it applies to our own lives and our culture, so that we can share it with others.
To have a thorough understanding of how the Gospel transforms our individual lives, so that we can experience this personally and encourage one another towards life change.
To have a thorough understanding of how the Gospel transforms our world through individual living and through the community of gospel people.

The course will run for 10 weeks prior to Christmas and then again over two intensive weekends after Christmas (to help shift workers, or those who travel a great deal etc.)

A pre-requisite to Foundations for Ministry is that you have completed [Discover Glenabbey] and entered into membership of Glenabbey.
