XTB is a great opportunity for kids (around P7 age) to deepen their faith as we look at some of the basics of New Testament teaching. The first stage, which starts in September, lasts for 7 weeks when the kids meet at 5.15 until it's time for trekkers (7.00pm). Starting with tea together we then look at a specific topic including: the bible, prayer, the Holy Spirit, changed life, church, communion and baptism. Following tea and a short teaching time we will break up into small groups, each group with an XTB leader, when the children can chat about what they have learned, and pray together.

The 2nd stage moves to 5.45 (sorry - no more tea!!) when we continue with our small groups of further study and prayer each week.

In addition to the primary aim of deepening their faith, we believe it is important for the children to develop relationships, not only with each other, but also with some of the leaders, who will be good role models for them as they grow up in Glenabbey.
