Causeway @ Glenabbey

On the last Thursday of each month from 7.00 to 8.30pm you are invited to come along to Glenabbey church to meet new friends and learn about Jesus. The Causeway @ Glenabbey group is organised in partnership with Prospects, and is open to anyone in the approximate age range of 18 - 50 years who would benefit from a programme specifically designed for those with any form of learning difficulty.

People with learning disabilities have difficulty with language, few will be able to read, concentration is short and abstract thoughts and conceptual thinking are major barriers to understanding, so we’d like to try to:

• Present Biblical truth simply and effectively
• Enable discipleship and training
• Give opportunities for inclusive worship

Coming up:

• 27th May at 7.00pm, Working Together. Speaker: Paul Mullan. Plus the formation of Causeway Icons (small discussion groups around table on 27th May)
• 24th June at 7.00pm, Causeway @ Glenabbey. Annual BBQ. Evening will include Testimonies
• 22nd July at 11.30am, Causeway Celebration at New Horizon, Coleraine. Meet at Glenabbey Car Park 9.00am
