Foundations for Ministry

This course provides a core theological underpinning for all involved in appointed positions of spiritual ministry in Glenabbey to enable us to live and serve together in step with the Gospel.

We are a ‘gospel’ community. Our desire is to live and to serve together in a manner worthy of the gospel.
This requires us to:

1. To have a thorough understanding of the Gospel and how it applies to our own lives and our culture, so that we can share it with others.
2. To have a thorough understanding of how the Gospel transforms our individual lives, so that we can experience this personally and encourage one another towards life change.
3. To have a thorough understanding of how the Gospel transforms our world through individual living and through the community of gospel people.

A pre-requisite to Foundations for Ministry is that you have completed Discover Glenabbey and entered into membership of Glenabbey.
