Faith. What is it? How do you get it? How do know when you’ve got it? What does it mean to live by it? There is so much confusion in our culture — and indeed in the church. This autumn sees a return to Genesis and in particular a close look at the life of Abraham — the one who above all other Bible characters is singled out as an example of faith. Through the study of his life we will come to understand faith a whole lot better. But not just to understand it — actually to believe, to grow in our faith and learn what it means to live by faith. Faith needs fed and inspired. Like a fire it needs fuel and oxygen. One without the other is useless. Either it burns out or it fails to burn at all.
