Safeguarding

The safety of children and vulnerable adults who access our programmes matters to us, and the safeguarding team, which is led by Stewart Whyte, oversees and reviews our safeguarding policy, Better Safe than Sorry, as well as arranging vetting and training for all those who serve in children’s, youth and pastoral ministries.

Gareth Black - Senior Youth

Gareth is happily married to the lovely Amy and they currently reside in Whiteabbey. He has been a Christian for over 10 years and his interests are bible teaching, sport, and music. He has a passion to encourage others to make their life count by loving with God with everything and loving their neighbour as themselves. He has been on staff at Glenabbey since June 2010 as Senior Youth Coordinator.
